With the aim of expanding manufacturing capability in North America, Asahi Glassplant Inc. (AGI) acquired H.S. Martin Inc. in Vineland, New Jersey, USA.
AGI USA Inc. is a subsidiary of Asahi Glassplant Inc. (AGI), a world-wide leader in glassware for science and industry. Expanding our global presence to the North American market is our strategic plan for success with manufacturing facilities in Japan (4 sites); Switzerland (1 site); India (1 site) and proudly now, the United States of America.
AGI will continue to manufacture glassware utilising all of our resources offering many types of glassware in addition to the H.S. Martin portfolio. We will continue to provide the products and services you formally purchased from H.S. Martin. AGI USA Inc., shares the same values as H.S. Martin. We conducted an extensive search within our market looking for an opportunity such as the one at hand.

Our goal is to increase productivity and offer new, innovative and high-quality glassware apparatuses, in addition to custom design capabilities. We decided to grow our company through an acquisition because we believe that a larger organisation will allow us to provide a wider array of products and services along with more depth.
A larger organisation will also mean our associates will benefit from the combined expertise. We will still be able to provide the products you are accustomed to; and additionally, many new products, services and areas of expertise in the future. We look forward to discussing these areas in more depth with you; However, there are several things we want to point out that will not change:
All of the key H.S. Martin staff are being retained in their current roles.
You will continue to work with the same people from H.S. Martin you have in the past during the acquisition and be introduced to new members of our teams.
The services that were provided to you in the past will continue to be offered and improved.
